The Internet has made it very easy for non profit organizations and charities to reach out and connect to a wide audience. Not only can accept donations online, but also keep your supporters updated on the progress made by your organization. In this regard, the impact of Internet on the awareness of a range of issues has been tremendous.

One way you can communicate with supporters of the organization is to have a blog that updated regularly. This does not need to be anything fancy. Having a presence on Facebook is also very helpful. Through Facebook, you can also raise funds for the organization directly. Create a 'Fan Page' for the organization, and keep it constantly updated. Put up some photos of your organization into action to further strengthen the trust in your organization.
