PC Games - Microsoft Flight Simulator

Fear of flying? No problem. Microsoft Flight Simulator, a simulation of the oldest games around, you will fly anywhere in the world in almost every type of aircraft you can think of.

The year was 1982 when the first flight simulator released. Was version 1.0. Graphically, it was easy enough, but it did give the user the possibility of flying a real aircraft. In the first editions have used the vector graphics, so that the view from the cockpit was pretty much left to your imagination.

Since the game progressed, however, the graphics became more real. If you made an aerial tour over New York, you would see a horizon that was a perfect point to what would actually see if you were flying over New York in a real plane. But the transition from version 1.0 to Flight Simulator 2002 was a slow and gradual.

In version 2.0 finally adds support for the duel is a mouse and a joystick. Version 1.0 was only a mouse. Moreover, the simulator has become more popular and versions were released on a number of gaming platforms.

It was not until version 3.0 that the flight simulator went to Windows. This was in 1988. The game featured the first that you could resize multiple windows. It also featured the windows and panels in 3D.

In 1989, Flight Simulator was released with version 4.0. There was a big difference between this version and 3.0, but the scenery was more detailed. The bridges, roads and buildings looked much better than the previous version. This version has also created a demand for add-ons to the game from outside suppliers.

In 1993, came out with version 5.0. More than 30,000 hours of development went into this version and it showed. It 'was the first game with photorealistic scenery and a map of the world. You can travel from New York to Paris in real time. This was an important step forward in the history of the game. With 5.1, the ability to manage libraries stage was added. In addition, time was added to the game, such as storms. This was done in 1995.

Windows 95, released in 1996, was the first game of the series available for the Windows platform. Other aircraft have been added, such as the Boeing 737. Photo-realistic satellite imagery has been added to this version. Moreover, flying lessons were added so that you can fly in minutes. The simulator was easy to date.

Flight Simulator 98 has added 10 times the number of airports from the previous version, then you can take off from anywhere in the world. Other aircraft were added and the graphics become more realistic. I did not think the game could have gone better.

But then Flight Simulator 2000 was released. Four new aircraft were added. Thousands of other airports have been added. Navigation has been greatly improved. Graphics have been improved. The control panels were more detailed. I'm just trying to figure out the controls for a Boeing 777 has been a challenge. Yes, 2000 was even better than 98.

But do not stop there. Flight Simulator 2002 was to be the best. The working tools were more realistic. Buildings became so realistic that it was scary. It adds new planes, including the first float plane. In real-time interactive air traffic control was added.

If you have not had the pleasure to experience Flight Simulator, now might be the best time of all....
